Sicilian almond granita (without ice cream maker)


Ingredients:

1 l water
300 g peeled almonds
300 g sugar


Method

In a blender, put the almonds (not toasted, but peeled), water and sugar.

We mix well, in order to obtain a smooth mixture.
We transfer it to a bowl or an aluminum tray.
We freeze.

We cut into cubes and transfer to a blender.
Chill again, until you get the typical consistency of Sicilian granita (creamy and velvety).
